Mission :
The mission described below is in accordance with the rules of hygiene, safety and environment of the site.
Within the Medical function and within the framework of the projects and the life cycle management of vaccines of the company, epidemiologic contributions to project development and to support of marketed vaccines by bringing epidemiological expertise and by planning, implementing and reporting studies.
• To design and implement
epidemiological studies to assess the impact / burden of
vaccine- and biologics-preventable diseases
• To establish
epidemiology strategy and collect field epidemiological
data (public and private hospitals, clinics,
etc.)
• To identify target populations and support development
of products through identifying appropriate settings for
clinical trials
• To collect and analyze epidemiological information for
needs and objectives defined by the projects and franchises
• To write synopses, protocols and documents necessary
for projects (publications, reports, etc…)
• To develop and maintain a network of collaborations with
scientific experts and Key Opinion Leaders
• To contribute to communicating scientific findings and
their implications both within and beyond the company concerning
the current projects or the marketed vaccines
• To promote the epidemiology and the Epidemiology department
within and beyond the company
Profile :
Training and experience:
MD with a specialization in epidemiology or in pharmaco-epidemiology
Or PhD or DrPH in epidemiology with 2 - 5 years of experience
Knowledge of infectious diseases is desirable
Fluent English
Interpersonal skills / Team Spirit
Capacity to work on team projects in an multicultural environment
Skill in analysis and synthesis of ideas
